Mohammed Abdullah - Hareholme Ward

My name is Mohammed Abdullah I am 48 years old. I have lived in Hareholme Ward for most part of my life. Throughout my life besides working for many blue-chip companies I have helped in setting up local businesses and volunteered with Lancashire Volunteer Partnership. I am also a Parent Governor at a local primary school.

I am running for Council because I feel it is time for me to step up and use my experience to give something back to the community I grew up in.

I enjoy living in Rossendale and want to see it as a place where it is great to live and to raise a family. This requires excellent schooling, reduced crime rates, a thriving sporting culture and a bustling town centre.

I will be pro-actively engaging with people living in this ward and will be open on any issues. I don’t want to see anyone feel left out.

I am an ordinary person with the same concerns that we all have at one time or another and with your support, I look forward to contributing to the Council and enabling local community life to flourish.
